Snooker Referee Certification – Celebrity Ref Michaela Tabb Coming to Canada

Have you ever thought about becoming a snooker referee?

The time could not be better to do so in Canada.

Whether you prefer to just know the rules and referee your own local events, or are possibly interested in refereeing larger scale tournaments with more visibility, this course can be for you.

Celebrity Scottish referee Michaela Tabb, the first female to ref a World Championship, is coming to Canada in March to conduct some referee clinics.

“The game of snooker has seen steady growth for the last few years here, and as with anything else, we must keep up with demand.”  says Snooker Canada President, Patrick Guigui.   “we will be creating many more events here for years to come, and a referee is certainly a very important part of the process”.

Legendary Canadian referee Bob Hargrove, from New Brunswick, will supervise the certification in Ontario and long time veteran Len Homenchuk will do the same in British Columbia.
