• The group stage will be random seeding.

• Matches are best of 3. You will play each player in your group once.

• Ties are broken by head to head record between individuals.

• In the event of a 3-way tie, we will have a blue ball off the blue spot direct to either of the 2 top pockets. Coin tosses will decide who plays first; the two players with matching sides of the coin will play first. If all three players have matching sides of the coin, re toss until there is two matching.

• The Knockout round will be seeded based on your ranking in the group stage play.

• The number 1 seed will get a bye in the first round of the knockout stage. Seeds number 2 and 3 will play a best of 3 to determine who plays the number 1 seed.

RULES

• All WPBSA rules will be followed. Here is the link to rules https://wpbsa.com/rules/. A copy of the rules will be on hand during the tournament.

• 15 reds.

• Touching ball fouls will be enforced.

• For any foul and a miss, you may have up to four attempts (three put backs). On the fourth attempt there must be a valiant effort on the shot (no rollups).

• The winner of a coin flip determines who breaks the first frame.

• A coin can be placed on table to mark the spot of the white ball when attempting to get out of a snooker.
o It is up to the striker to remove the coin if is in jeopardy of getting hit as after the white ball has been struck, if any ball were to hit the coin, the striker would be fouled.
o Also you can use a ball marker with the white tailor’s pencil to mark the spot.

• Time can be called to get the roving referee to look at a possible touching ball foul, the ball(s) position for a put back, to see that the fourth attempt is a valiant one, or to see if a player is deliberately playing slow.

• Players in matches are required to referee, score keep, spot balls for their opponents unless the table has a designated referee

• **FOR ALL MATCHES**
A frame is conceded if more than 3 (4 point) snookers are required to win the frame. Examples include:
o If there are 27 points on the table and you are trailing by 42 points, the frame is conceded as you will need more than 3 snookers (12 points) to win the frame
o If there are 27 points on the table and you are trailing by 37 points, play on as you can still win with 3 snookers (12 points)
o If there are 27 points on the table and you are trailing by 39 points, play on as you can still tie with 3 snookers (12 points)
