West Coast Snooker

It’s amazing when I ask people on the East Coast about certain names of snooker players on the West Coast.  Most have never hear of them…John Horsfall, Russ Shuster, Tommy Lee.

I recently went to Vancouver to attend the Tommy Lee Memorial and they were all there, including one of the original founders of the Canadian Snooker Council in 1972, Len Homenchuk.

These are all players that have made countless century breaks, perfect games and made lots of noise in the West Coast in the eighties and nineties.

RIP Tommy Lee, a purist for the game, always willing to help, Marco Fu teacher of the game, over 2000 century breaks, perfect games, and classic battles with Cliff Thorburn.
