Snooker Canada President Patrick Guigui had the pleasure of sitting down with the original founder of the Canadian Snooker Council, Doug MacDonald recently in the city of Kanata, Ontario.     “It was a great honor to sit down with the man who started it all back in the early 70’s. ”  said Guigui.

“We looked over some old pictures and articles, and discussed different ways to bring the game of snooker back to it’s deserved status…and perhaps even higher than before.

The future is starting to look a little brighter as there have been a few tables put up recently across the country and the largest tournament in quite some time is happening soon with a prize purse of $20 000.
