Snooker Canada is pleased to announce its first sanctioned event in Alberta.  This will take place in the fall of 2014 with the winner of the event to grab a qualifying spot for the $20 000 Richler Cup in 2015.

Brad Grierson, a long time snooker player and tournament organizer has taken the bull by the horns and will help boost snooker activities in the Province.  The event will take place at Leather Pocket Billiards and is sponsored by National Concrete Accessories

The feedback and support since the announcement was made has been great and this marks the beginning of a new era for snooker in the West.
