As I continue my research into the reasons why in the last 30 years, our country has suffered such a dramatic decrease in our game’s popularity, the time has come to change focus on how to reverse the trend.

As I see it, it is like anything else in this world, if you keep doing the same things, you will indeed get the same results. This is the reason I have chosen to try different things that are outside of the box , in order to make snooker more popular here.

This month is exciting as snooker will be showcased and introduced to a fresh batch of people that have similar interests, the golfers. Yes, 20 000 golfers in the greater Toronto area will see what snooker is all about at the Toronto Golf Show. Exciting? Yes, Expanding too! It is a form of advertising that is second to none, as the people will be able to try the game out themselves and get a taste of it.

A team of volunteers will be joining Snooker Canada and helping to educate the golfers and promote the game in a fun and unique atmosphere. A contest will be done to clear the colors, exhibitions, videos, and free hours will be given out like hotcakes.
