Richler Cup Reaches Milestone – 50 Players

Exciting news for snooker fans! The $20 000 Richler Cup has officially reached a new milestone in accepting it’s 50th official registration for the event.

Considering the tournament is still a few weeks away, this is considered a pretty good turnout. Last year, the inaugural Richler Cup was in Montreal and only had 26 players.

Participant #50 is coming all the way from Israel and has previously played in Canada, when Snooker Canada hosted the IBSF Under 21 World Snooker Championships. We wish Shachar Ruberg the best of luck and are excited to welcome more international players including Brasil, Belgium, and of course the United States.

With qualifiers going on in most parts of the country this month, a few spots are still available to get into this prestigious event. Please visit the “Upcoming events” section in the middle of the home page for details on those.

If you wish to register directly, that is also an option. Registrations will be based on a first come first serve basis and the event will surely be at capacity shortly.
