In an effort to accommodate new players in to our game, Snooker Canada created a tutorial video on the basic rules of how to play snooker a couple of years ago.

It is a short video that explains the basics so a beginner can start enjoying the game.   While the video only lasts a little longer than 5 minutes, it took approximately 6 months to produce.

We hope you enjoy the video and if you know anyone who might want to try snooker, we encourage you to help in bringing more Canadians into the game.

A follow up video with more detailed rules will be coming in the near future.
