In the first Semi finals, Alex Zhang from Quebec defeated 2015 Richler Cup finalist, Cheuk Yin from Ontario by a Scoreline of 5-2 with an impressive century break in frame 5.

In the other Semi Finals, Tom Finstad  from Alberta showed some character in coming back from 4-0 down, and then Phil Snache from Ontario showed some character of his own by winning the final frame & match winning frame and taking it 5-4.
