You know when to hold ’em and when Folan, Stephen Folan wins the final qualifier!!

Stephen Folan wraps up the season in style with his first tournament win.  Folan battled hard throughout the tournament as was able to white wash his opponent Parshant Sanger 3-0 in the final.  Both players made it to their first finals of the season, so the future looks promising for these two.  As well Alan Ima was able to grab third place by defeating Dalton Roy.

We had some new faces show up this past weekend, welcome Cash Singh and Tyler Weir.  However, this was the last qualifier of the season, but I’m sure they will be back when we start up the season in September.  Now all that is left is some big tournaments.

Big thanks to Jonathan Sun and his staff at Top 147 for all their help and hospitality.  In addition, lots of thanks to Tyler Choutka for his refereeing expertise throughout the season and to Rob Johnson at AAA labs to help us get out the word via posters.  Thanks to Ahmad Nuri, who introduced a new structure to how we run the tournaments, to Mayur Jobanputra for his help behind the scenes, and to Denise Poulin who has been in the room the past few tournaments to help out if it is needed.

Thanks to you all that came out for this season and looking forward to next year where we can continue to grow.
