If you google “Sports Handicap System”, chances are you will see a whole bunch of results for golf and not much for our great game of snooker.

Does this make any sense?  Not really.

In the last 6 months, Snooker Canada has been researching ways for this to be created so that all levels of play can compete on a level playing field.

They do it in pool with the Fargo rate, so no reason why this can not be done in snooker.

If you have any ideas or suggestions on what factors are important for this, we would love to hear from you.  We have found that paying attention to players’ feedback often helps things get done more efficiently.
