Snooker Canada Tribute – Ike Toews

Snooker Canada congratulates Ike Toews, one of British Columbia’s most respected and enduring ambassadors of the game.

In the 2015 provincial ranking final, Ike defeated Reed Unger 3–2 and produced a remarkable 147 break, a milestone achievement that placed him among an elite group of Canadian players.

In May 2026, Ike once again demonstrated his enduring class and skill by recording an impressive 137 break, underscoring his continued excellence at the table.

Beyond competition, Ike has made a lasting contribution to the sport through coaching and mentoring new players, as well as helping to organize major events such as the sold-out Cliff Thorburn Exhibition and Demonstration held in Langley, B.C., in 2025. Ike’s long-standing friendship with Cliff Thorburn reflects his deep connection to Canadian snooker at the highest level.

A true champion and gentleman of the game, Ike Toews continues to set a standard that inspires players across British Columbia and Canada.

Congratulations, Ike!
