$50 000 Snooker Canada Season Begins

Snooker Canada is pleased to announce the beginning of a new snooker season that is sure to get players excited about playing more snooker in this country.

Over $50 000 will be paid out during this season with several different events taking place in different parts of the country.

Some of the major events coming through this season include an inaugural Snooker Canada Junior Championships in Ontario, another edition of the  Canadian University Championships, whose location is currently in the works,  a new memorial tournament for Ted Wormworth out in British Columbia, a new Championship in Manitoba, and of course the second annual Richler Cup, which promises to be even bigger than the first one.

Along with these exciting tournaments will be another edition of the Montreal International Snooker Festival, and the continuation of the production of a documentary film on the history of snooker in Canada.

Finally, Snooker Canada is happy to launch its first Snooker Sweepstakes to be giving away a $5000 trip to England to see the pros live.  It is free to enter at participating locations and all contest details can be found on our home page.

As usual, if anyone has anything they would like to contribute to our game in this country, in any way, shape or form, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@snookercanada.ca
