The top 16 seeds go through to the Crucible automatically so the qualifiers draw comprises 128 more players in a flat draw, all needing to win three matches to reach snooker’s Theatre of Dreams.

Those 128 players comprise tour players outside the top 16, Q School top ups and WPBSA invites.

Ding Junhui, Steve Davis, Jimmy White, Kyren Wilson and ladies World Champion Ng On Yee will be among the players in action in the qualifiers.
