It was standing room only for the Semi Final and Finals at the Snooker Canada Montreal Tournament.

John defeated the previous champion Marc in an exciting match that came down to the final Frame.

Marc went undefeated right up to the finals. Pre-Finals, John had only 1 loss which is an indicator of the caliber of these two fine players.

Both players exchanged impressive breaks throughout the final match..

John clinched the championship when in the final frame he potted a difficult green and cleared the remaining colours.

A round of applause for both finalists for a well played match.

 

John has been playing Snooker for over 30 years and has an impressive history. He has also won several 9 Ball Championships in sanctioned tournaments but he has always preferred Snooker for the strategy and skill level required.

A special thanks to Ron who organized the tournament and to President of Snooker Canada , Patrick who made it all possible.
