Congratulations to Darcy Fulton for winning the Fall Session of the Calgary Snooker League. Darcy defeated our previous champion, Mike Abou Daher, 4-0 to take the title.

 

Darcy and Mike both finished first in their respective divisions during round robin play and cruised through the playoffs to the final.

 

The first frame of the final was a cautious affair with both players respecting the abilities of the other. Darcy finally broke through and had a run on the colours to take it. The play opened up after that and Darcy caught fire with breaks of 50, 47, and 41 to take the next 3 frames and the championship.

 

Thanks go out to Calgary Legion #185 who have 2 very good tables and a nice atmosphere, Ron Tatterton for refereeing, and the spectators that came out to watch these two great players.

 

The Winter Session of the league will be starting in mid-January.
